Mr. Fred Marvin Eddins, age 73, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017. Graveside Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Eastview Cemetery, Wadesboro, NC by Rev. Ed Butler. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC

Fred was born January 22, 1944 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Fred Linwood and Elizabeth Meachum Eddins. He was a drill sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a retired sales manager for Moorman Manufacturing.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Eddins was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Hildreth.

He is survived by his son, Stephen Ramsey Eddins and wife, Tanya Avery Eddins; his grandsons, Brandon Ramsey Eddins and Avery Calhoun Eddins, all of Rembert, SC; his brother, Harvey Eddins (Joyce) of Burlington, NC; his sisters, Myrtle Wall (Bill) of Lilesville, NC and Helen Lail (Ralph) of Wadesboro, NC; his nieces and nephews and their families.
