INTERMENT: will follow in the Lower Macedonia Memorial Gardens

HISTORY: Mr. Starling was born October 24, 1940 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late John and Cora Lee Parker Starling. He was a retired electrician with Delta Mills and an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents, "Buck" was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lynn Atkinson; 4 brothers, Woodrow, Wesley, Gene, and Douglas Starling; and by 3 sisters, Reatha Dixon, Lucy Mae Lambirth, and Martha Mabe.

Wife of 47 years: Brenda Joyce Haithcock Starling of the home
2 Sons: Frankie (Susan) McMasters, and Daniel F. "Buddy" Starling of Asheboro, NC
1 Daughter: Kaye Hickey and Timothy Wallace of Cheraw, SC
2 Sisters: Margie (David) Sweatt of Chesterfield, SC, and Nellie Parker of Asheboro, NC
Also: 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren
