Mrs. Frances Kelley Woodard, age 74, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 11, 2021. A celebration of life service will be at 3 O’Clock PM, Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Jefferson Church of God by Pastor David Grubbs. The family will receive friends and family from 2 O’clock to 3 O’Clock PM at the church prior to the service.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, our staff is committed to taking care of our guests and families that we serve. We also ask all guests and family members attending visitations and services to please continue social distancing and face coverings are strongly encouraged.
Mrs. Woodard was born December 15,1946 in Jefferson County, GA a daughter of the late George Herbert and Mattie Mae Goins Kelley. A member of the Jefferson Church of God, she enjoyed spending time in God’s house. Along with being a lover of God, Frances was also a lover of animals. She had many pets including dogs, cats, and even a bunny. Though Frances loved all animals, she had a special place in her heart for her beloved puppy, Jazzy.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woodard was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Pamala Gainey; and her great-grandson, Dalton Nelson.
Survivors include her children, Mattie Lori Torres of Mt. Croghan, Herbert (Tracy) Smith of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Stephanie Smith of Pageland, SC, Brittany Gainey of Mt. Croghan, SC, Christa Gainey of Mt. Croghan, SC, Austin Smith of Pageland, SC, Jake Smith of Columbia, SC, Cameron Smith of Columbia, SC; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Phyllis Hopkins of Great Falls, SC, Barbara Clark of Chester, SC; grandson of the heart, Mason Elks of Mt. Croghan, SC, special friend, Teresa Ramirez of Mt. Croghan, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
