DECEASED: Mr. Floyd Franklin "Butch" Melton, age 58, died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at his home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, June 9, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: will be private

VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:00 P.M. Monday June 9, 2008 at the funeral home prior to the service.

HISTORY: Mr. Melton was born July 24, 1949 in Lilesville, NC, a son of the late Herman and Daisy Bell Melton. He was a graduate of Lilesville High School and was a retired refrigeration and air conditioning technician. Butch was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Betty Dick and Frances Anderson.

Wife: Ruby Johnson Melton of the home.

1 Sister: Katherine Connor of La Pine, OR
