Evelyn Jane Bost Puckett

Cheraw, SC

     Mrs. Evelyn Jane Bost Puckett entered into rest on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the age of 81. The family plans to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Puckett privately.

     Mrs. Puckett was born January 9, 1944 in Albemarle, NC a daughter of the late Samuel and Lessie Boger Bost. Evelyn loved the Lord and devoted time each day to reading her Bible. In addition to her spiritual studies, she enjoyed reading for pleasure and often found joy in a good book. Evelyn also enjoyed challenging herself by playing computer games. A true animal lover, she cherished her two beloved cats, Snowball and Grey, who brought her constant companionship and comfort.

     In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Puckett; and siblings, Dorris Whitley, Betty Nash, and Melvin Bost.

     Survivors include her sons, Eric Puckett of Manning, SC, Jason (Laura) Puckett of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Anna Puckett, Marissa Puckett, and Brett Puckkett all from Manning, SC; as well as her special niece, Teresa (Carson) Adams of Chesterfield, SC.
