INTERMENT: will follow in the Old St. David's Cemetery, Cheraw, SC

VISITATION: 12:00 - 1:00 PM, Friday, August 23, 2013 prior to the service at the funeral home.

HISTORY: Mrs. Spease was born May 30, 1933 in Cheraw, SC a daughter of the late Sandy Linton Tucker and Maude Freeman Tucker. She was a graduate of Cheraw High School, class of 1952, and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cheraw. Mrs. Spease was a retired employee of Ina USA. In addition to her parents, Emma Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Spease; 1 daugher, Cynthia Faye "Cindy" Spease; 3 brothers, Gus, Jim, and Pete Tucker; and by 2 sisters, Courtney Wilks and Ida Mae Poston.

1 Son: Jennings (Penny) Spease of Newport News, VA
2 Grandchildren: Rachel and Jonathan Spease
2 Sisters: Carrie Louise "Nancy" Jones of Society Hill, SC and Charlotte Keith of Hartsville, SC
1 Brother: William "Buddy" Tucker of Hartsville, SC
