HISTORY: Mrs. Jordan was born August 6, 1936, in Bennettsville, SC, a daughter of the late, Kenneth Blake and Bessie Reid Moser Tadlock. She was a graduate of Pageland High School, and was a homemaker and a former restaurant owner. Mrs. Jordan was a member of First Baptist Church, Pageland, SC. In addition to her parents, Elsie was also preceded in death by her husband, Shearl E. Jordan.

4 Sons: Kenneth (Denise) Burr of Lexington, SC, Michael Burr of Gainesville, FL, Jerry Burr of Pageland, SC, and Tommy (Donna) Burr of Mt. Croghan, SC
Sister: Betty (Pete) Cato of Pageland, SC
