Elaine Miles Johnson

Ms. Elaine Miles Johnson, age 70, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 7:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2022 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Steven Tarlton and Reverend Jason Cheek with special music provided by Pastor Tommy Moser. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Johnson was born May 2, 1952 Pageland, SC a daughter of the late Perry Edward Miles and Omega Miles Grooms. She was a graduate of CPCC of Charlotte and a member of Windsor Park Freewill Baptist Church. Elaine was a former employee of The Markette in Hartsville. She enjoyed a good cup of coffee, traveling, and reading God’s word.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Johnson was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Edward Miles, Rev. Jimmy Miles, and Timmy Miles.

Survivors include her daughter, Robin (Chad) Kirkley of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Amanda (Isaiah) Byars of Pageland, SC, and Kyle Kirkley of Cheraw, SC; great grandchildren, Camden and  Dillon Blakeney; sister, Barbara (Freddie) Tarlton of Jefferson, SC; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Williams, and Angie Miles both of Jefferson, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
