Edward "Eddie" McCorkle

​Mr. Larry Edward “Eddie” McCorkle, age 70, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at his home. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Mr. McCorkle was born on April 14, 1953, in James Island, SC to the late Bill and Virginia McCorkle. Eddie enjoyed gardening, landscaping and was an avid outdoorsman. Among his many hobbies were hunting, salt water fishing, and music. He retired from Dak America with 30+ years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Page McCorkle of the home; son, Miles McCorkle of the home; brothers, Gene (Sylvia) McCorkle of Charlottesville, VA, Bobby (Terry) McCorkle of Jacksonville, FL; and sister, Janet (Mark) Kruger of James Island, SC
