HISTORY: Mrs. Allen was born July 27, 1928, in Norwood, N.C., a daughter of the late Charlie and Lucy Mabry West. She was a homemaker and a patient caregiver. Mrs. Allen was a member of Green Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen, 4 brothers, Wilson, Heath, Tom, and Bill West, and by 2 sisters, McCoy Kendall and Nellie Poplin.

3 Grandchildren: Regina W. (Chad) Goodale, T. J. West, and Ryan (Shaun Wells) West 4 Great Grandchildren: Preston, Sophie, Emily, and Bradley
