DECEASED: Mrs. Edith West Griffin, age 69, died Friday, February 6, 2015, at her home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Monday, February 9, 2015 at Union Hill Baptist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Lancaster, SC

VISITATION: 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Griffin was born September 13, 1945 in Pageland, SC a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Myrtle Lee Watts West. She was a former lunchroom operator at Petersburg School and a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. Edith enjoyed cooking for her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Griffin; her brothers, R. W., Johnny, and Ervin West; and by a sister, Mary Lee Wright.

2 Sons: Dale (Donna) McClain of Jefferson, SC and Perry (Dawn) McClain of Pageland, SC
6 Daughters: Janice (Billy) Griffin, Gail (Roger) McManus both of Pageland, SC, Nancy (Jamie) Willis of Monroe, NC, Lisa (Junior) Smith, Patricia Ann Patterson, and Jaylynn Star McClain all of Pageland, SC
2 Stepdaughters: Rhonda Knight of Lancaster, SC and Teresa Griffin of Pageland, SC
1 Sister: Linda Laney of Columbia, SC
Also 15 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren
