Dorothy L. Foust

Mrs. Dorothy L. Foust, age 89, formerly of Chesterfield, SC, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Graveside Services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens by Rev. Dean Hunter. The family will receive friends from 2:30 – 3:30 PM Sunday, prior to the service at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Foust was born January 21, 1929 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late S.H. and Maude Hancock Lisenby. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and a former employee of Burlington Industries. Mrs. Foust was a member of Midway Baptist Church and enjoyed coloring, working puzzles, and doing crafts.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. Foust; brothers, Clyde, Fred, and Julian Lisenby; and sister, Gladys Brooks.

Survivors include her daughters, Dianne Shoe of China Grove, NC and Kaye Hunter of Kannapolis, NC; 3 grandchildren, Rev. Dean (Laura Jane) Hunter of Landis, NC, Dewey (Miranda) Hunter of China Grove, NC, and Lee-Anne (Mike) Davies of Landis, NC; great-grandchildren, Kyndall, Henry, Brooks, and Adah.
