FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Monday, January 14, 2008 at David's Grove Baptist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Monday prior to the service at the church

HISTORY: Mrs. Curtis was born in Chesterfield County a daughter of the late John Wesley and Hattie Atkinson Gainey. She was a homemaker and a member of David's Grove Baptist Church. Dorothy was married to the late Rufus E. "Son" Curtis and was also preceded in death by a brother Willie Gainey, a sister Helen Boan, and by a step grandson Bill Parrish.

1 Stepdaughter: Mary E. (Dr. Thomas) Parrish of Wadesboro, NC

3 Brothers: J.C. Gainey of Concord, NC, James Gainey of Chesterfield, SC, and Haywood Gainey of Shalotte, NC

1 Sister: Mary G. Gulledge of Hartsville, SC

Also 2 step grandsons, Rev. David Parrish and Rev. Tony Parrish, and 2 step great grandchildren
