INTERMENT: will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Pageland, SC

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Timmons was born November 4, 1933 in Ruby, SC a daughter of the late Julius Walter Jordan and Myrtle Gulledge Jordan Terry. She was a retired assistant teacher with Ruby Head Start and worked for 20 years as a secretary with J. P. Stevens. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and a Sunday School Teacher. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband Joseph B. "Joe" Timmons.
