FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Friday, July 17, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mrs. Rhynes was born September 13, 1928 in Ruby, SC a daughter of the late Lacy Lear and Mary Geneva Griggs Lear. She was a graduate of Ruby High School and a retired seamstress. Doris was also a former employee of T & C Grocery and a caregiver. She was a member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church where she served on the tape ministry. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny M. Rhynes; a son, John Gary Rhynes; and two brothers, Jerry and David Lear.

2 Great Grandchildren: Reagan and Griffin
4 Brothers: Henry Lear of Ruby, SC, Bobby Lear and Robert Lear of Chesterfield, SC, and Fred Lear of Cheraw, SC
1 Sister: Bertie Faye Lee of Cheraw, SC
