FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Cross Roads Baptist Church
INTERMENT: will follow in the church cemetery
VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Funeral Home
HISTORY: Ms. Melton was born August 29, 1946 in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late William Pete and Mamie Maybelle Joplin Black. She was a former patient care giver at Pageland Care Center and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by a brother, Hazel Black.

2 Sons: Tim (Debra) Melton and Jamie (Dawn) Melton both of Ruby, SC
4 Grandchildren: Kayla Melton, April, Jimmy, and Danny Wallace
1 Brother: Joe (Linda) Black of Ruby, SC
