Donald Lee "Donnie" Evans

Pageland, SC Mr. Donald Lee "Donnie" Evans, age 80, entered into rest on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Atrium Hospice House of Union County. A private graveside service will be held at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Evans was born April 29, 1946 in Monroe, NC, a son of the late Dallas and Marion Funderburk Evans. He was a graduate of Pageland High School and received his associates degree from Palmer Business College in Columbia, SC. Donnie was a retired employee of Dupont with over 28 years of service and a member of Providence Baptist Church. Among his personal interests, he enjoyed fishing and collecting antique cars.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Evans was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Evans and Nelson Evans.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Kay J. Evans of the home; son, Bryant (Rebecca) Evans of Conway, SC; granddaughter, Abby Evans of Columbia, SC; brother-in-law, James “Jimmy” (Betty) Jordan of Murrells Inlet, SC.
