FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel
INTERMENT: Will follow in the White Oak Presbyterian Church Cemetery
VISITATION: 3:00 - 4:00 pm Thursday, prior to the service at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home
HISTORY: Mr. Wilks was born May 17, 1927 in Hartsville, SC a son of the late Alex and Bertha Brown Wilks. He was a retired employee of SC Department of Transportation, and a lifelong member of White Oak Presbyterian Church. Dewey was married to the late Mildred R. Wilks, and was also preceded in death by his 6 brothers, Monroe, Pete, Eugene, Jack, A.J., and Topsy Wilks.

1 Son: Ronnie (Allison) Wilks of Elgin, SC
1 Daughter: Rebecca (John Eric) Patterson of Lexington, SC
2 Sisters: Louise Gainey of Hartsville, SC and Ida Belle Stevens of Kershaw, SC
