Mrs. DeWanna Yuvonne Bennett, age 71, entered into rest on Monday, June 24, 2024. The Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the home of Mrs. PaTricia Tibbetts, 3364 Hwy 268, Mt. Croghan, SC 29727.

Mrs. Bennett was born November 11, 1952 in Cleveland, TN, a daughter of the late James Holt and Viva Eaves Moore. Mrs. Bennett was known for her bubbly personality and great sense of humor. Her conversations around the thanksgiving dinner table will be particularly missed. Dewanna enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and pulling for the Tennessee Volunteers. Her favorite hobby was taking her family on late night donut runs to the nearest Krispy Kreme. Mrs. Bennett was a notary who performed many weddings for many of her friends and family members. Of all the things that made Dewanna’s life memorable, there was nothing more special than the love she showed to her family. She was a loving mother, daughter, and “nana”. Mrs. Bennett loved children and she was “nana” to her children, grandchildren, and to many of their friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bennett was also preceded in death by grandchildren, Scott, Cody, Matthew; and great-grandchild, Noah Sullivan.

Survivors include her daughters, PaTricia (Michael) Tibbetts of Mt. Croghan, SC, KaTrinia (Josh) Clingman of Cassatt, SC; grandchildren, Paul Baird of Wallace, SC, Zachary (Kaci) Sullivan of Pageland, SC, Kayin Catoe of Bethune, SC; great-grandchildren, Delilah Baird, Arabella Sullivan, Alayna Sullivan, Everleigh Sullivan, McKinley Hyatt; granddaughter-in-law, Heather Raffaldt of Cheraw, SC; siblings, Betty Greene, James Moore of Chattanooga, TN; and numerous nephews.
