HISTORY: Mrs. Barrington was born February 14, 1934 in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late Willie Lester and Flossie Steen Brigman. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Community Baptist Church. Dessie was married to the late Nelson Eugene Barrington, and was also preceded in death by 2 daughters, Mary Parker, and Regina Wallace, and 1 brother, Fred Ray Brigman.
