Mrs. Delores Cassidy Moore, age 84, died Tuesday October 27.

Born July 19, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Carson Cassidy and Pauline White Cassidy.

She was a Graduate of Chesterfield High School and Betty Stevens School of Cosmetology. She worked at home in her salon for many years and later went on to be a Customer Service Representative with Weller-Cooper Group and retire after many years of service.   She was a lifelong member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church and also attended Hopewell Baptist Church in her later years.

Delores enjoyed traveling.  She especially enjoyed the trips taken with her daughter, sisters, and nieces.  She also enjoyed going out with her friends, spending the day shopping, and having lunch. Delores adored her grandchildren and they were the apple of her eye.

In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her brothers B.C. and Randall Cassidy.

Delores is survived by her husband William T. Moore of Ruby, SC a son Marty (April) Johnson of Prosperity, SC , a daughter Luann (Jack) Hammond of Chesterfield, SC. 3 stepdaughters Vicky (Larry) Phagan, Ruston LA, Jeanie (David) Brigman of Chesterfield, SC and Brenda (Dewey) Griggs of Ruby, SC and a stepson Mike (Sandy) Moore of Moncks Corner, SC.  2 sisters Carolyn (Tom) Parker of Jacksonville, Fl, and Joann (Woody) Evans of Lexington, SC.  2 brothers Roger Cassidy of Cheraw, SC and Larry Cassidy of Maggie Valley, NC.  5 grandchildren Brooke (Ned) Smith of McClellanville, SC, Dustin Johnson of Lexington, SC, Hannah King (Matthew Campbell) Chesterfield, SC, Rachel (Clint) Gulledge of Hartsville, SC, Travis Hammond of Columbia, SC.  5 great grandchildren Carson Smith, Kolin Campbell, Allie Vaughn, James Gulledge and Mary Catherine Hammond.  Numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be held at Lower Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
