CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Bright Spot Baptist Church, 1407 Lockhart St, Monroe, NC 28112. The body will lie in state from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

COMMITTAL SERVICE: 3:30 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227

VISITATION: is 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, October 13, 2014 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Miss Johns was born April 8, 1955 in Charlotte, NC a daughter of the late John and Sarah Gaston Johns. She was a homemaker and attended Bright Spot Baptist Church. Although Debra never married or had children, she was a special lady and a second mom to many. Miss Johns fought a long hard battle with colon cancer, and her determination and love for God and others through her illness was a testimony to all. Her family will always remember her as a great role model and wonderful Christian lady.
