Daryl Clinton "Clint" Gulledge

Hartsville, SC

Mr. Daryl Clinton “Clint” Gulledge, age 43, entered into rest on Monday, September 4, 2023 at his home. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Clanton Plains Baptist Church Cemetery, Chesterfield, SC by Reverend Randy Gulledge and Dr. Steve West. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2023 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Gulledge was born March 10, 1980 in Chesterfield, SC a son of Randy and Margaret Campbell Gulledge. He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School, Class of 1998, and was a very talented carpenter. A “jack of all trade,” Clint could design and build anything. He was also a gifted artist and enjoyed drawing and painting. Clint accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Clanton Plains Baptist Church as a young man, and was a current member of Faith Baptist Church of Hartsville. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Clint was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Hammond Gulledge; maternal grandparents, Thomas & Mary Campbell; paternal grandfather, Leon “Bubber” Gulledge; paternal grandmother, Willie & James Pittman; aunt, Polly Nicholson; uncle, Shane Ratliff; and cousin, Micheal Gulledge.

Survivors include his children, Jaden Riley, and James Gulledge; step-daughter, Allison Vaughn; parents, Rev. Randy & Margaret Gulledge of Hartsville, SC; grandmother, Emma Gulledge of Ruby, SC; sister, Beth Gulledge of Hartsville, SC; aunts & uncles, Tonie (Robert) Jones of Jefferson, SC, Rebecca Ratliff of Cheraw, SC, Grady (Kim) Gulledge of Ruby, SC, Ricky (April) Gulledge of Charlotte, NC, Rev. Rodney (Melissa) Nicholson of Pageland, SC; in addition to numerous cousins and friends.
