Mr. Danny Gene Pearce, age 63, entered into rest on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Dr. Phillip Hunter with burial to follow in the Hurst Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Pearce was born January 13, 1955 in Albemarle, NC a son of the late William Gilbert and Margaret Lucille Lowder Pearce. He was a former employee of Mitchell Distributing Company with 36 years of service and the former owner and operator of K & D’s Country Store. Danny enjoyed cooking, fishing, drag car racing, and sitting on the porch with his dogs. He will be remembered as a man who never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents, Danny was also preceded in death by his wife, Kim Adams Pearce.

Survivors include his son, Daniel “Danny” (Beth) Pearce of Chesterfield, SC; 4 grandchildren, Kimberlyn Pearce, Macy Roscoe, Morgan Roscoe, David (Kayla Hancock) Teague; great grandsons, Jayden Teague and Charlie Kann; 1 sister, Dianne (Butch) Cook of Norwood, NC; 2 brothers, Donald Pearce of Norwood, NC, and David Pearce of Albemarle, NC; 2 nieces, Tiffany Cook, and Crystal Page both of Norwood, NC; and special friend, Cindy Lowery of Chesterfield, SC.
