Danny M. Melton

Mr. Danny M. Melton, age 65, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 with his family by his side. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Friday, May 9, 2025 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Ricky “Sweet” Jenkins and Brent Taylor. The burial will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Melton was born June 25, 1959 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Manuel and Lucille Hancock Melton. He was a life-long carpenter and worked many years as a heavy equipment operator. In his free-time, Danny enjoyed fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Melton was also preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Vining, and Gladys Black; brother, Carroll Melton; nephews, Chris Melton, Dustin Melton, and Scottie Brigman.

Survivors include his brother, Ricky (Diane) Melton of Ruby, SC; sisters, Vicky (Frank) McIntyre, and Vivian (Alana) Brigman both of Ruby, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; and brother of the heart, Billy Allen.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Suncrest Home Health, and a special thank you to his nurse, Amanda Rayfield Rumph for the excellent love and care provided to Danny and his family.
