Mr. Rollings was born June 15, 1940 in Jefferson, SC a son of the late Lonnie and Josie Hopkins Rollings. He was an U.S. Army Veteran who went on to work in many fields including landscaping and brick masonry. Cole was a “jack of all trades” who enjoyed working on and tinkering with things. He was an avid NASCAR fan who always cheered for Dale Earndhart, Jimmy Johnson, and Denny Hamlin. Mr. Rollings loved studying Karate and he was not afraid to show off his moves. He also liked riding around on his golfcart and talking with the ladies. Though Cole never married, it was solely because he did not want to break the hearts of the many ladies who would’ve missed the opportunity had he chosen one over the others.
Cole was the baby of Rollings family and the last of his immediate family to enter inro rest. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rollings was also preceded in death by his siblings, Mamie Price, Allie Catoe, James Rollings, Hollis Rollings, Maude Price, Otis Rollings, Grace Geiger, Charles Rollings, Bessie Mae Lee, and Edna Mae Eubanks.
Mr. Rollings is survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
