HISTORY: Ms. Self was born September 30, 1947 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes Baker Self. She was a former employee of Carolina Packaging and a member of Oakland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Clara was also preceded in death by her former husband Willie James "Jim" Self and a sister Janie Mae Johns.

3 Daughters: Ellen S. Airrington and Dawn (Jeff Neas) Self of Chesterfield, SC, and Cynthia "Cindy" (Kenneth) Lindsey of Mt. Croghan, SC
5 Grandchildren: Christi Adams, Ashley (Keith Whitmore) Self, Bryant (Jamie Inskip) Sims, Kerri (Matt Davis) Lindsey, and Kayla Lindsey
6 Great Grandchildren: Drew, Haleigh, Aliesha, Austyn, Conner, and Khloe
2 Sisters: Carolyn (Walter) Kinsey of St. Clairsville, OH and Frances (Jerry) Pruitt of Chesterfield, SC
