Clara Myrtle Roberts

     Mrs. Clara Myrtle Roberts, age 80, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 13, 2024. In accordance with Mrs. Roberts’ wishes, there will be no formal services.

     Mrs. Roberts was born July 19, 1943 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Coyt and Essie Cassidy Atkinson. Mrs. Roberts enjoyed crossword puzzles and working in her yard. She had a talent and a passion for making flowers grow. Clara also enjoyed doing yardwork for those in the community who were no longer able.

     Survivors include her children, Penny (Robert) Blalock of Pageland, SC, Ricky Rollings of Mt. Croghan, SC, siblings, William (Genny) Atkinson of Pageland, SC, Robert (Faye) Atkinson of Jefferson, SC, Tommy (Tammy) Atkinson of Society Hill, SC, Grady (Betty) Atkinson of Ruby, SC, Sylvia Lawing of Kannapolis, NC, Katherine Atkinson of Ruby, SC; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Irma Rivers of Jefferson, SC.
