VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Cranford was born August 30, 1924, in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late James Valley and Ella Mae Winburn Douglas. She was a graduate of McBee High School, and was a former merchant and Patrick Town Judge. Mrs. Cranford retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 40 years of service, as a rural carrier and postal clerk. She was a faithful member of Patrick Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years, and was a member of the WOW Lodge 516. In addition to her parents, Clara was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Cranford.

3 Sons: Bobby (Brenda) Cranford of Sevierville, TN, Johnny (Rosie) Cranford of Surfside Beach, SC, and Ricky Cranford of Patrick, SC
2 Daughters: Ann (Buck) O'Neal of Patrick SC and Gale (Ronnie) Parks of Peyton, CO
17 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren
1 Brother: Bobby (Barbara) Douglas of Pensacola, FL
1 Sister: Louise (Donald) Mangum of Denver, NC
