          Mrs. Christina Rene Cavett McClain, age 33, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. A time of viewing, visiting with the family, and sharing of memories will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, November 7, 2022 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home. The evening will be closed in prayer of support for the family led by Pastor Trey Thompson.

 

          Mrs. McClain was born November 11, 1988 in Monroe, NC a daughter of Jeffery Carrol Cavett and Teresa Chavis Baker. A young lady who enjoyed arts, Christina enjoyed painting, coloring, and drawing. One of her favorite pastimes was journaling and had an expressive way with words. Christina will be fondly remembered as the one of the most caring souls who was loved by everyone.

 

          Mrs. McClain was preceded in death by her grandparents, Annie Doris Chavis, Glenn Everett Ford, Doris Cavett, Carrol Cavett, and Roger Clute.

 

          Survivors include her husband, Christopher Jacob McClain; children, Skylar Madison Walters, and Jayden Alan Whitley; parents, Teresa Chavis Baker, Jeffery Carrol (Belecia) Cavett, Roger Clute, Jr., and Clerence Edward (Robin) Collins; grandparents, Jim & Mary Collins, Larry (Diane) Chavis, Karen McWhorter, Ann Clute, and Brenda Sullivan; siblings, Jeffery Clint (Michelle) Cavett, Devin Collins, Alexis Collins, Misti Davis, Cheyenne Shouse, Kayla Peterson, DJ Baker, Jacob (Maria) Trombley, Job (Kacie) Trombley, Katey (Terry) Morrison, Canaan Wilson, Christian (Raley) Wilson, and Kanbrey Wilson; daughter of the heart, Ryleigh Laney; sisters of the heart, Niyah McBride, Teya Patterson, and Yona Patterson; special friend, Roger Little; in addition to a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

 

          For those wishing to make a memorial in Christina’s memory, Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home is receiving donations on behalf of the family that will be used to set-up a trust fund for the children.
