Chastity Monroe Davis

Cheraw, SC

Mrs. Chastity Monroe Davis, age 52, entered into rest on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at her home. A celebration of life service is being planned for a later date.

Mrs. Davis was born September 4, 1973 in Chesterfield, SC the daughter of Nina Davidson Fowler-Frazier. Chastity had the heart of a fighter, overcoming cancer four times beginning at the age of three. Through every challenge and trial she faced, her extraordinary faith carried her forward and gave her strength. Chastity was a true people person who cherished building meaningful connections with those around her. She enjoyed getting lost in a good book, indulging in a little retail therapy to unwind, and spending time fishing. An animal lover at heart, she cared deeply for her own pets and even looked after the neighborhood cats.

Above all else, Chastity loved her family. She shared a special bond with her mother and never hesitated to tell her what to do, often bringing laughter to those around them. Of all her accomplishments in life, motherhood was by far her greatest joy and proudest achievement.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by the daddy of her youth, Ronald Fowler; father of her adult years, John L. Frazier, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Charles B. and Catherine J. Davidson; paternal grandfather, B.F. Monroe, Sr.; and uncle, Chales W. Davidson.

Survivors include her husband, Mitchell Davis of Cheraw, SC; son, Tyson James Davis of Cheraw, SC; mother, Nina Fowler-Frazier of Cheraw, SC; biological father, R.B. Monroe; siblings, Alexa Ann Haitcock, Franklin Clark Pruitt, and James W. Pruitt all of Myrtle Beach, SC; aunt, Sharon McIntire; uncle, Dr. Francis J. Murray; and fur babies, Shu-Shu, Moe the squirrel, and numerous cats and dogs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org); or to the Sarcoma Foundation of America (https://curesarcoma.org/?form=CancerPrevention).
