Patrick, SC
Charles Terrell Daniels, age 56, passed away peacefully on April 16, surrounded by love and comfort, with his fiancée, Christine Zumpano, by his side.
Born in Atlanta, GA on May 5, 1968, he was known affectionately as Terry by his family and friends. He was a devoted father to their children Charlotte and Lysander, a cherished brother to Stacey McRoy (Patrick) and Alan Daniels, and a loyal friend. Among those he held closest were his brother from another mother Danny Springs and his longtime friend Derrick Smalls - both of whom have been part of his life since childhood. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Linda Marie Mauldin Daniels Cleapor and Charles "Bo" James Daniels. He kept in touch with a select group of friends from his podcasting days, where he was affectionately known as Chuck D. He cherished the connection and camaraderie built through spirited conversations and shared laughter.
Terry had a deep love for his dog, Pepper, who was always by his side and brought him endless comfort and joy. An avid outdoorsman, he also had a passion for collecting guitars and classic hats, and was a devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves—rarely missing a game and always ready to talk stats and history.
Terry was a staunch fighter for liberty and freedom—principles he lived by and instilled in those around him. He believed in the power of the individual and stood firm in his convictions, always ready to speak up for what he believed was right.
He lived a life rich with humor and quiet strength. He was a man who valued deep connection, meaningful conversation, and the simple joys of life. Those who knew him will remember his warm spirit, unwavering loyalty, and the way he made everyone feel seen and heard.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unforgettable stories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Family will be having a service at St Paul's in Bennetsville.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home (www.mrcfuneralhome.com) of Chesterfield, SC is serving the Daniels family.
