FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Monday, June 6, 2011 at Fairview Baptist Church
INTERMENT: will follow in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery
VISITATION: 3:00 - 4:00 pm Monday, June 6, 2011 prior to the service at the church
HISTORY: Miss Melton was born June 1, 1957 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Floyd and Joan Rivers Melton. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, where she served as church pianist. Cathy used her musical abilities to help area churches and families for special services. She was a devoted sister who was dedicated to the love and care she provided for her brother and sister. In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by 1 brother, Ricky Melton.

1 Sister: Patricia Melton of the home
