FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 10:00 - 11:00 AM Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mr. Lisenby was born October 6, 1928 in Ruby, SC a son of the late John Leonard and Bertha Ann Odom Lisenby. He was a retired farmer, and an avid musician and singer. Mr. Lisenby was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Rose Memorial Church of the Nazarene. In addition to his parents, Carson was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Gooden Lisenby; daughter-in-law, Cheryl O. Lisenby; and by 1 brother, and 3 sisters.

3 Daughters: Robin (Henry) Rivers of Ruby, SC, Scarlett (Larry) German and Sheila (Wayne) Owens of Pageland, SC
4 Grandchildren: Sharon (Andy) McManus, Misty German, Sarah Ann Owens, and James Owens
7 Great Grandchildren: Amber, Autumn, and A.C. McManus, Kaci and Ryan Neal, Grant Dowen, and Trent Courtney
