Carroll Edward Perdue

Mr. Carroll Edward Perdue, age 90, entered into rest on Monday, June 8, 2026 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Ed Phillips and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Palmetto Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4:00 - 5:00 PM Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Perdue was born February 5, 1936 the son of the late Ed Roosevelt and Nezzie Coker Perdue. Mr. Carroll was a proud member of the Chesterfield Bojangles “Old Men’s Club,” where sharing breakfast and conversation with friends was often the highlight of his day. He had a knack for making a good deal, whether he was browsing a yard sale or bidding at an auction. Mr. Carroll also enjoyed quiet evenings at home, often spent watching wrestling.

Mr. Perdue was preceded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Betty Perdue; son, Wayne Perdue; siblings, Roberta Harrell, Peggy Burch, Margie Brigman, James Perdue; and great- grandson, Domonick Sellers.

Survivors include children, Sherry (ED) Phillips of Patrick SC, Justin (Angie Boatwright) Sellers; daughter-in-law, Becky Perdue; grandchildren, Slone Perdue, Adam Phillips, Alyssa (Ronnie) Guinn, Duran Perdue, Dallas Phillips; great-grandchildren Aaliyah, Alaina, Lil’ Pa, Bayleigh, Chandler, Lakeleigh, J.J, & a special great-granddaughter; brother, Laverne (Christal) Perdue; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
