Carroll "Little Carroll" Melton

Ruby, SC

 Mr. Carroll “Little Carroll” Melton, age 71, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 10, 2025 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Reverend Donald Deal and Reverend Tommy Moser with burial to follow in the Ruby Church of God Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

 Mr. Melton was born on April 17, 1953 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Manuel and Lucille Hancock Melton. Carroll was a member of the Macedonia Masonic Lodge #239. Mr. Melton loved relaxing mountain get aways, working on antique cars, and finding a good deal at the flea market. Carroll also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his four-legged best friend, “Boss”.

 In addition to his parents, Mr. Melton was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Melton, as well as his sisters, Evelyn Vining and Gladys Black, and beloved daughter-in-law, Marlene Melton.

 Survivors include his children, William “Tim” (Debbie) Melton of Ruby, SC, Jamie Melton of Ruby, SC, and Dustin Melton of the home; grandchildren, Kayla Melton, April (Beto) Martinez, Jimmy (Shay Jones) Wallace, Danny (Bessie) Wallace, and Chase Ray; girlfriend, Wanda Donahue of Mt. Croghan, SC; siblings, Ricky (Dianne) Melton of Ruby, SC, Danny Melton of Ruby, SC, Vicky (Frank) McIntyre of Ruby, SC, and Vivian (Alaina) Brigman of Ruby, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
