Mrs. Chinery is the aunt of Phillip Caulder, Jr. On behalf of the Miller-Rivers-Caulder family, we extend our love and sympathies to Mr. Jack & Mrs. Cammie's families during this time. Mrs. Cammie Brown Chinery, age 67 of Myrtle Beach, SC, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 1, 2021, after a short illness. Cammie was born August 6, 1953 in Chesterfield,SC. She was a daughter of the late William Charles “Willie” and Bertha Odom Brown. Cammie graduated from Chesterfield High School. She was married to John “Jack” Chinery, who also passed away on March 1, 2021. Jack was the love of her life and they entered the gates of Heaven holding hands. Cammie loved decorating, pocketbooks, and spending time with family, friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, Cammie is preceded in death by a son, Rodney Paul Strawn, one brother Charlie “Cose” Brown and sisters Leona Ferguson, Ila Hines, Lorine Watson, Iva Brock, and Betty Caulder.
Cammie is survived by a son, Richard “Richie” C. Strawn Jr. (Michelle); a daughter, Stacey "Nikki” Sutton (Thomas), of Boiling Springs, SC; step daughters, Kristie Chinery, and Kim Payne of Rutherfordton, NC; grandchildren, Jordan Strawn, Greyson Strawn, Haley Sutton, and Tristan Sutton, all of Boiling Springs, SC ,Katelyn Kirk, Alexandra Chinery, Lauryn Grimes, Noah Lael, Payton Lael, and Lillie Payne all of Rutherfordton, NC; one great-grandchild, Eva Wilson of Boiling Springs, SC; brothers, Tony W. Brown (Bonnie), and Bobby R. Brown (Jan); one sister, Trena Brown Curtis all of Chesterfield, SC; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
A family graveside service will be held at a later date in Ruby, SC.
