Brody Brandon Langley

Mr. Brody Brandon Langley, age 9, of Pageland, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday morning, September 28, 2025. A graveside service to celebrate his life is scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Brent Taylor. The family will greet visitors from 3:00 to 4:00 PM Thursday at the cemetery prior to the service.

Born on April 4, 2016, in Monroe, North Carolina, Brody was the beloved son of James F. “Bubba” Langley and Raven Nicole Deese. A fourth-grade student at Pageland Elementary School, he truly embodied the spirit of a country boy. Brody loved spending his days fishing, drag racing, and four-wheeling with his buddies. Affectionately known as “Brody B” or “Brody Man,” he was outgoing, free-spirited, and had a gift for making friends wherever he went. With his infectious charm, he often joked that he was “God’s gift to the ladies” and proudly showed off his distinctive eyelashes—one brown and the other blonde. A devoted fan of country music, Brody could often be heard singing along to his favorite songs, filling every room with his joyful energy.

Brody is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Phillip Douglas “Dougie” Deese; maternal uncle, Cody Brandon Deese; paternal grandfathers, Donald Ray Langley and Elmore “Punkin” Robinson, Jr.; and paternal great grandfather, William Gary Langley.

He is survived by his parents, Bubba Langley and Raven Deese; his brother, Wyatt Langley; and his sister, Sofie Langley. Brody is also survived by his grandmothers, Angie Langley and Doris Ann Deese, both of Pageland; great grandmother, Betty Langley of Pageland; aunt, Amy Langley of Pageland; uncle, Edward (Angela) Sikes of Pageland; and beloved cousins, Da'Shauna, Danashia, and Darrick Clyburn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home at (843-623-2449), located at 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709, to assist the family during this difficult time.
