Mrs. Brenda Gail Steen, age 49, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at her home. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Steen was born October 6, 1966 in Lancaster, SC a daughter of Sarah Bernice Boan and the late Jimmie Nelson Hill. She was a former employee of Care South Carolina. Mrs. Steen enjoyed cross stitching and crocheting, and her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Randy H. Steen of the home; 1 daughter, Melissa L. Griggs and husband Robert of Piedmont, SC; 2 grandchildren, Sarah and Callie Griggs; her mother, Sarah Bernice Boan; 2 brothers, Timmy Hill and wife Motsy of Chesterfield, SC and Jimmy Hill of Cassatt, SC; and 1 sister, Connie Southard of VA.

The family requests memorials be made in Brenda’s memory to Hospice of Chesterfield County, P.O. Box 293, Chesterfield, SC 29709
