Brenda Evelyn Fulton

Chesterfield, SC - Mrs. Brenda Evelyn Fulton, age 79, peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. Lindsey Powell. Burial will follow at Chesterfield Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fulton was born November 4, 1946 in Jefferson, SC, a daughter of the late Oscar Daniel and Clarine Alice Kissiah Johnson. A lady who enjoyed being in nature, Evelyn enjoyed tending to her garden and caring for her beloved pets. She treasured her time with her horse, Blaze; her loyal dog, Pepper; and the many other four-legged companions who filled her days with happiness. Evelyn cherished moments spent with her family, whether browsing yard sales or taking road trips to the mountains. She delighted in sharing her cooking talents with those she loved and found happiness in life’s simple pleasures such as a crisp Pepsi or a cold bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Above all, Evelyn will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fulton was preceded in death by her siblings: Olin Johnson, Red Johnson, Danny Johnson, and Shirley Steen.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Lee Fulton of the home; children, Alice (Larry) Kuhns of Darlington, SC, Lori (“PeeWee”) Crocker of Patrick, SC, Billy Todd (Carolyn) Hatcher of Wallace, SC, Sherry (Greg Smith) Chavis of Hartsville, SC, Robin (Jesse Gilmore) Fulton of Chesterfield, SC, Donna Rivers of Chesterfield, SC, and Kim Fulton of Patrick, SC; grandchildren, Guy Chapman, Crystal Gaddy, Addam Crocker, Madelaine Crocker, Briana Lewis, Andrea Wallace, Joseph Crocker, Billy Todd Hatcher, Jr., Sarah Davis, Cheyenne George, Gage Chavis, Charlie Gilmore, Nathan Gilmore, Tabatha Fulton, Adam Lewis, Samantha Vincent, Tracy Rivers.

Also surviving are great grandchildren, Jacob, Jace, Hunter, Shea, Keira, Zachary, Montana, Elijah, Skylar, Gage Jr., A.J., Ryllie, Chylah, Kailyn, Addison, Ava, Mason, Gabbie, Cami, Braxton, Alaya, Everlee, Peyton, Jaidan, Jacob, Hunter, Keira, Emmarie, Katelyn, Laney, Tinsley, Cody, Haley, Landon, Jackson, and Dalton; brother, Jimmy (Wanda) Johnson; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Cheraw Post Acute and Agape Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion provided to Mrs. Fulton during her time with them.
