Mrs. Bonnie Jordan Lindsey, age 72, entered into rest peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Scott Gibson and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Mt. Croghan Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, November 5, 2021 at the funeral home.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, our staff is committed to taking care of our guests and families that we serve. We also ask all guests and family members attending visitations and services to please continue social distancing and face coverings are strongly encouraged.

Mrs. Lindsey was born July 24, 1949 in Ruby, SC a daughter of the late Clarence and Mamie Jordan. She was a retired employee of Highland Industries with over 47 years of service. Mrs. Lindsey was a faithful member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Pageland, where she enjoyed singing for the Lord as long as she was able. Bonnie also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially cooking and baking for them, shopping at Hamrick’s, and finding deals at yard sales.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lindsey was also preceded in death by sisters, Gertrude Plyler, Onie Mae Jenkins, Katie Atkinson, and Aileen Jordan; and brothers, Perry, Burtis, and Beecher Jordan.

Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, John E. “Johnny” Lindsey of the home; sons, Timmy (Donna) Lindsey of Ruby, SC, Wayne (Crystal) Lindsey of Cheraw, SC, and Kenneth (Cindy) Lindsey of Chesterfield, SC; daughter, Samantha (Dustin) Ricketts of Mt. Croghan, SC; grandchildren, Justin Lindsey of Jefferson, SC, Kerri (Matt) Davis of Chesterfield, SC, Anna (Stacy) McManus of Pageland, SC, Kayla (Chris) Thompson of Rockingham, NC, Jordan Ricketts, and Nathan Ricketts both of Mt. Croghan, SC; great grandchildren, Ava McManus, Brantlee McManus, Christian Thompson, Lily Thompson, Sawyer Lindsey, and Davis Lindsey; sister, Emma Jean Melton of Pageland, SC; brother, Gurney Jordan of Pageland, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Regency SouthernCare Hospice of Chesterfield, especially her primary nurse, Beverly Vaughn, for the exceptional love and care shown to Mrs. Bonnie and their family.
