Bonnie Lou Blackburn Davis

Mrs. Bonnie Lou Blackburn Davis, age 77, of Ruby, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on the evening of December 6, 2025, at McLeod Health – Cheraw. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Brent Taylor. Friends are invited to visit Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home on Wednesday between the hours of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM to pay their respects. The family will be receiving guests at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Marie Davis.

Born on March 29, 1948, in Ruby, SC, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late Johnny and Lucy Hancock Blackburn. She devoted her life to her family as a homemaker and had previously worked at Chesterfield Webbing. She was a long-time member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. Bonnie cherished her family dearly and enjoyed cooking, tending to her flowers, and growing a large garden each year to share with both family and neighbors.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Franklin “D. F.” Davis, Jr.; her son, Michael “Mikey” Curtis Davis; her sister, Elizabeth “Libby” Blackburn Moody; and her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Lee and Ruth Rivers.

She is survived by her son, Danny (Marie) Davis of Ruby, SC; her daughter, Michelle Atkinson of Ruby, SC; her grandchildren, Jasper Davis, Kara (Josh) Sellers, Ashton Gaddy (Josh English), and Blake Davis; and her great-grandchildren, Kayson English, Cavan English, Briar Sellers, with another expected arrival in the coming months. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law, Bob Moody of Ruby, SC, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
