Bonnie Jean Adams Brown

Mrs. Bonnie Jean Adams Brown, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at her home. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Pine Grove Baptist Church by Pastor Mark Phillips with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Brown was born September 12, 1948 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Joe Willie and Retha Lang Adams. She was a retired employee of Chesterfield Drug Company and a former employee of Chesterfield Manufacturing. A faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bonnie served the Lord as a former Sunday school teacher, member of the W.M.U., member of the bereavement committee, and in various other capacities throughout the years. Known for her sweet smile and kind nature, Bonnie was a proud “Me-Ma” and “MiMi” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was also preceded in death by her husband Tony Wayne Brown who passed on February 3, 2024; an infant son, Rodney Wayne Brown; and sister, Louise “Sis” Adams Skipper.

Survivors include her children, Gina B. (Tony “Slim”) Wilkerson; and Kevin Wayne Brown both of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Kaleb Brown, Jake Brown, Trevor Wilkerson (Taylor), and Reagan Wilkerson; great grandchildren, Marissa Brown, and Gunner Wilkerson; brother, William (Sonia) Adams of Chesterfield, SC; brother-in-law, Bobby (Janice) Brown of Chesterfield, SC; sister-in-law, Trina Curtis of Chesterfield, SC in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
