FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Clanton Plains Baptist Church cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, April 14, 2008 at the funeral home

HISTORY:
Mr. Deese was born November 8, 1937 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Maxie and Iris James Deese. He was a retired employee of the S.C. Department of Transportation. Mr. Deese was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Clanton Plains Baptist Church. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Mr. Deese was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Gulledge; 4 brothers, M.C. "Teat", Carl, John Henry, and Billy Deese; and 2 sisters, Louise Gulledge, and Carolyn "Peachie" Odom.

4 Sisters: Lois "Tiny" Jones of Kannapolis, NC, Betty (Carroll) Perdue of Patrick, SC, Dot (Tommy) Jordan of Cheraw, SC, Sylvia "Syble" Winstead of Chesterfield, SC
