Billy Ray Morton

 Mr. Billy Ray Morton, age 65, entered into rest on Saturday, August 31, 2024. The family will host a private celebration of life at a later date.

 Mr. Morton was born November 13, 1958 in Chesterfield, SC the son of Bobby Julian Morton and the late Helen Hinson Morton. Billy graduated from Chesterfield Highschool and went on to work for Tucker Lumber Company. In his free time, Billy enjoyed fishing.

 In addition to his mother, Mr. Morton was also preceded in death by an infant son. 

 Survivors include his father, Bobby J. Morton of the home; son, Michael Morton of Pageland, SC; siblings, Joann (John) Groves of Peachland, NC, Bobby “Buck” (Sherry) Morton of Marshville, NC, Robin Morton of Maxton, NC, Angela Morton of Pageland, SC, Maria (Scott) Thomas of Peachland, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
