HISTORY: Mr. Cassidy was born March 21, 1933, in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Calvin and Viola Boan Cassidy. He was a retired building contractor. In addition to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Moore; and by four brothers, Walker, Lloyd, Jimmy, and Ray Cassidy.

Wife of 55 years: Mildred Clanton Cassidy of the home
2 Sons: Billy H. (Susan) Cassidy and Timothy W. Cassidy of Chesterfield, SC
1 Daughter: Sharon (Wes) Cassidy-Rivenbark of Chesterfield, SC
5 Grandchildren: Mandy Curtis, Jennifer (Brandon) Grainger, Will Curtis, Sarah (Trent) Knight, and Molly Cassidy
3 Great Grandchildren: Scarlett and Everett Grainger, and Brewer Knight
1 Brother: Paul Cassidy of Patrick, SC
1 Sister: Vera Short of Patrick, SC
