HISTORY: Mr. Deese was born August 10, 1929 in Monroe, NC a son of the late Earl and May Horne Deese. He was a retired employee of Manetta Mills. In addition to his parents, Bookie was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Frank, Allen, Joe Neil, and Bill Deese.

Wife of 51 years: Doris McManus Deese of the home
1 Son: Bruce Deese of Monroe, NC
1 Daughter: Vickie (Mike) Little of Burnsville, NC
2 Sisters: Pearline Kelly and Lillian Starnes of Monroe, NC
Also 4 Grandchildren, 1 great Grandchild, and a number of Nieces and Nephews
