HISTORY: Mrs. Poston was born in Chesterfield County a daughter of the late Daniel Preston and Minnie Griggs Oliver. She was a homemaker and a member of Thompson Creek Baptist Church. Betty Jean was married to the late Luther Weldon Poston and was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Otis Griggs and James Carl Griggs; and by 3 Sisters, Lois Perdue, Leila Steen, and Myrtis Jones.
