VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mrs. Hayden was born February 5, 1936 in Buncombe County, NC a daughter of the late William Faxon Tomberlin and Elizabeth Ross Tomberlin Rayfield. She was a graduate of Lee Edwards High School and High Point College. Mrs. Hayden was former Probate Judge of Chesterfield County and was a retired Patient Advocate with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Betty was first married to the late W. P. "Bill" Curtis and then to the late Calvin Hayden.

SURVIVORS:
2 Sons: Paul (Phyllis) Curtis of Matthews, NC and Don (Donna) Curtis of Chesterfield, SC
3 Grandsons: Drew, Dylan, and Dalton Curtis
