VISITATION: is 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Burr was born June 8, 1936 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Sydney Perry and Lula Mae Tarlton McIntyre. She was a homemaker and member of Oakland Baptist Church. Bessie was a faithful pastor's wife for many years. She was also a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Bessie was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Avery Burr; one son, Timothy Burr; and one daughter, Rillie Smith.

1 Brother: Randolph (Sarah Belle) McIntyre of Ruby, SC
1 Sister: Ruth (Robert) Heustess of Patrick, SC
1 Son-in-law: Steven Smith of Patrick, SC
